The rain continued, but that couldn’t stop us from exploring the countryside of Italy! We explored the Devil Bridge and shopped in downtown Lucca.

Lucca is the most civilized of Tuscany’s cities, a stately grid of Roman roads snug behind a mammoth belt of tree-topped battlements.
