I’d like you to meet a few local rescue cats! Meet cool, momma Chyna, and her ferocious group of baby kittens. MEOW! For those of you who don’t know me (Natalie), when I’m not shooting weddings, doing laundry, or editing images, I can routinely be found caring for sick and abandoned animals. For those of you that know Alex and I, you know that our passion for animal welfare runs deep. When we’re not photographing beautiful brides, we’re helping to provide foster care or medical assistance to needy pets. There are so many orphan pets looking for homes, so if you’re considering a new dog or cat, please consider adoption.
I’d like for you to meet Elphie and Scruffy, both special needs pets that have recently been adopted from Orphan Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, a small, local animal rescue in Neenah, Wis. Elphie has deformed back legs and unfortunately, even with the birth deformity, her original family chose to front declaw her, further compromising her ability to move. Elphie was later found abandoned with severe frost-bite to both ears, resulting in an amputation of a majority of both ears. Through all the pain, Elphie continues to be a petite little love-muffin! Thank you to her new family for accepting little Elphie just the way she is!

Meet Scruffy! A handsome young male with endless love and compassion. He has multiple burn wounds to his head and neck, plus he has FIV. FIV is a virus that attacks the kitties immune system. It can only be spread through deep bite wounds or from birth. For more information, visit here.

Last, but certainly not least, meet Edward! He’s still looking for his forever home. He has tons of energy and has an amazing personality. Like, Scruffy, Edward also has FIV, but that most certainly doesn’t keep him down!
